The purpose of the program is to:

1. Expose students of Calumet Public School District 132 to the Arts in a structured setting.
2. Develop trained musicians, vocalists, and visual artists through the implementation of rigorous music and art theory training.
3. Prepare students for public performances and display.
4. Inspire students to continue with the study of the arts throughout life.
